10 Day Residency

After completing my first 10 day residency, I have several thoughts whirling in my head, both about my upcoming art projects and about my experience in general. I have never had the opportunity to do a residency before. I have never had any academic experience with art. I have never been surrounded by art history professors, curators, and artists before. So yes, there was some anxiety due to the novelty and my inability to predict the events, and  I still do not approve of introductions. Other than that, it was an inspiring experience, and I look forward to future residencies.
