Merleau-Ponty and Husserl

Went down a rabbit hole thanks to a nice link to an online repository of scholarly works on art and media history and theory from my mentor. Interesting book by Mark Hansen, Bodies in Code. Totally disagree with his thoughts but still several nice references to Merleau-Ponty in relation to virtual reality and interactivity. Went off to read some more of Ponty now and finding some interesting things that wrap back around to the Saussure and language discussion of course, but also the idea of truth which is important to my work. Not in Ponty’s camp, but I still appreciate his efforts. I also find his references to Husserl of interest in particular as I often find myself questioning the distinction with regards truth between solipsism and intersubjectivity. Finding his discussions particularly relevant.
