[externalized object created, created by a person, Person with intention,  intention of communication, communication of a message, message requires a person [can be the same person] to interpret it, interpretation must be active]

The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

Person using [creative skill/imagination] via a medium to be actively interpreted [for emotional power]

I would argue that ‘creative skill/imagination’ is a subjective judgement call on medium. So I am fine with my substitution with medium.

‘For emotional power’ has to do with the active interpretation of a message. I think specifically _active_ is what I am substituting for emotional. And I do wonder about this. Am I really saying emotional? Is the difference between seeing the fat cat image and interpreting lazy for the game and seeing a relaxed cat painting and feeling the silliness or the joy of a lazy life of the cat, the difference between active interpretation and emotional response and non-art and art? Both require an active interpretation. However, only one requires an emotional response. I suppose only one inspires an emotional response. And I did suggest that you would be painting the fat cat because while you were ultimately wanting to communicate easy, lazy lifestyle, you might also intend to suggest the joy of, whereas others may see that while others might see something disgusting to them or someone might see something funny or others might not even react though they think, lazy life of a cat. So I guess the intention to include an emotional response regardless of whether there is one.
